According to a source close to the Airport Authority, a member of the Authority has submitted a letter of resignation from the Heart of Georgia Regional Airport Authority. Chairman Steve Greer has reportedly resigned effective immediately. No further details are immediately available as Greer is supposed to be on vacation.
Greer’s appointment to the Authority was made by Representative Jimmy Pruett. No announcement has been made from the Pruett Administration as to a possible replacement for Greer.
